Unlike some other plant medicines, there are no psychedelic effects, however, it is psychoactive, as it crosses the blood brain barrier and releases all those juicy endorphins! I drink it everyday, and I haven’t had coffee in years.

Theobromine is what is responsible for this effect, and works on your cardiovascular system rather than your nervous system(caffeine)
A gentle, calm focus.

Cacao is actually also a superfood ranking the highest plant containing the most iron(actually healed my anemia drinking this) but it’s a heart healing medicine that is still used ceremonially across the globe (and very common at retreats)

It’s what chocolate is made from, but our chocolate is only about 10 percent of this…

It goes straight to the brain with all the happy endorphins and serotonin to name a few, expands your blood vessels rather than constricting them like coffee, energizing you and relaxing you at the same time:)
(I sip on antidepressants all day)😁

On an energetic level, it works on the heart chakra and helps in third eye opening, very useful with meditation, Boosts creativity and connection to spirit!

When I make the batches I sing to it, pray to it and bless it(as taught to me)(This recipe is from a Shaman in Columbia)

"I was introduced to it many years ago while in Mexico at another plant medicine retreat

I have been working with several different medicines now and I am passionate about the healing possibilities and the wisdom they hold.

Cacao is definitely one of them🙏"- Cindy
